Nice but the staff was sort of rude and for a small local joint I would have expected better.

Stopped in after hiking to McKafee Knob. Ashly was the server. Great service. I hade the Appalachian Trail Burger and it was delicious. The atmosphere was nice. Staff was very friendly. Also had the homemade brownie with ice cream. Awesome. I’m a frequent traveler so always look for non food chain, local places. So glad I walked in there

The food was OK somewhat...But the service was Horrible.Now I understand it was Sunday afternoon. Our waitress did not want to be there...She spent more time at the bar with her local friends than taking care of customers.But as you know it was the ONLY restaurant at that exit. The hotel recommended it.It will do fine for locals I guess.

Okay so the food was ok I've eaten here a couple times nothing to complain about as far as that goes. They just need more than one waitress the poor girl got slammed At lunch time so we had a long wait to get our food. She did apologize though because It was much busier than usual today.

Decent food, friendly staff, reasonable prices and it was nice to listen to some live music.

I've only ever been to Billy's to see a live band so I haven't tried many of their menu items but the ones I have gotten were surprisingly good. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Venue nice! No complaints except the women's bathroom is rough. Homemade chips great but really, like 15 on the plate? PILE'EM high and include some dips!

A wonderful stop on the road to the Appalachian trail. The burgers were great and very filling with the addition of a large enough beer selection this is a great place to be. The prices are very affordable as well and the value is certainly there and then some.

Again...I love the "Hole In The Wall" places. This was awesome. At first, I expected to open the door to sawdust and peanut shells on the floor. Nope. Just and older, wood walled joint. Very comfortable atmosphere with some music in the background and 2 ladies working their butts off to get everything you need. Very nice place. You may even get called Hun or Shugga once or twice. Very Country... The food is great. Hearty servings and it's priced right. I'll be back.

Nachos greasy. Menu prices not accurate. Server said this when I questionned bill.

We tried a variety of different food options(salad, burgers, pasta) and everything was awesome. Live music was great and it was definitely a fun memory we had from our trip!

Great place to catch local bands and enjoy some dancing. They have decent beverage prices and some good nachos.

The bartenders are lovely people and the mashed potatoes go great with a beer.

Food and service are top of the line. I constantly seek out the top rated restaurants everywhere I go. It doesn't get any better. Steak cooked and seasoned perfectly, peanut butter pie was as good o pie I've ever had.

Fantastic food, all the flavor of good home cooking and absolutely delicious. Staff was friendly and very helpful in picking from the menu. 10/10 would go again.

What a nice place to go for a meal. I had been curious for a couple of years but hadn't checked it out. The service was great and the food was very good. Only negative was that the parking lot was in need of repair.

Really good food and friendly service

Some of the food was good, some was not so good. Service left us feeling like scolded school children. Disappointed because the reviews were so good and we were expecting to enjoy our meal as out of town travelers.

Local place - good food & fair price! We have order food for lunch - always delicious, fresh and tasty. Dinner as well very good for price. It is a local venue owned by locals. Nothing fancy but food is always prepared well and taste great. Try the BLT wrap - yummy! Quesadillas are too much food for one setting / they are great. Love the home cooked chips ! Good food. Good price ! Quick service

It was amazing! If you’re looking for a good home cooked meal while traveling this is a place to stop. Exit 141 off of 81 and just a half mile down the road. The Appalachian Burger was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The meatloaf was tender and fresh! The blue cheese dressing for the salad was incredible with real chunks of cheese. Perfect place to stop...for those with bigger vehicles too—RVs and trucks can easily fit in the side lot. Friendly staff. Why go anywhere else?

We stopped for dinner here on out way home. The service was amazing. Our waitress was so nice and kind, especially to our daughter. The food was amazing. I had the Loch Haven sandwich, which was amazingly delicious. Portions were great size and food came out quick. I'll definitely be back if we pass through in the future.

I got the House Made Chips and the 5 oz Sirloin-Shrimp Special with Mashed Potatoes. I also got the Peach Cobbler for dessert. The house made chips came with house made ranch and blue cheese and were 5 out of 10, the steak and shrimp had a spicy sauce on them and was a 6 out of 10, potatoes were real and not very seasoned, I give them a 5 out of 10 , the Peach Cobbler was good, but over priced for the amount you get, I give it a 5 out of 10 and the service good and was a 7 out of 10.

Fantastic food. Absolutely the best food during my week long business trip to Roanoke. Steak was prepared better and had a better flavor than a well known steak house 10 min away (visited other location as well). Environment and decor may not be to most people's liking. If you are looking for Texas Roadhouse style amenities and decor then this is not for you. If you want the best steak in Roanoke (IMO) then this is your destination. The Friday night I was here, they had live music as well as a dance floor. I will definitelt return here when in the area.

Crowded due to band "House of Schmidt". This is a Saturday night, so very busy. 1.5 hours to get food and standing room only. Great band!! Wait staff were working hard and very nice!! I felt for them.

I am very glad I tried this place. Service was excellent and the food was exactly what we hoped for. One person said she had perhaps the best burger she has had in a long time. I had the steak salad and it was very good. The chili was a little disappointing, but that's ok. Very few places make a good chili. I know that going in, but always try it anyway, just hoping to discover a rare treat. I would recommend trying this place and will definitely return the next time I am in town.

Amazing place! The staff is all extremely friendly! The food was amazing, best home cooking around! Handmade burgers cooked the way you want them. I would recommend if you're anywhere near here stop in and enjoy!!!!!!!
